FINITE SOLUTIONS FOR INFINITE POSSIBILITIES We are looking for a Director of Accounting and Finance.
The ideal candidate has a high acumen for managing accounting procedures & reading financial statements, is highly organized, and has the ability to explain financial records to clients from all levels of finance & accounting experiences.
This individual needs to be hands on and unafraid to jump into production should the need arise to get the department back on track.
Roles &
Responsibilities:
Will be the point of contact with our clients once they have built rapport with the clients Will be the point of contact with onboarding clients, working with Business Development and Operation team to set up new clients Manages a team of staff accountants and must understand what each individual is tasked to do Create, maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each team Reconciliation, accruals, month-end adjustments, and variance analysis for Client's financials Skills Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required Understanding of US GAAP and financial/accounting principles Minimum 10 years of Accounting Experience Minimum 8 years of Supervisor experience managing a team of at least 3 staff members Must have proficient knowledge of QuickBooks Online Accounting Software Extremely strong written & verbal communication and time-management skills Must be able to explain complex accounting & financial questions to business owners of all levels Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and be able to think through and provide a possible solution to problems Proactive, innovative, and positive attitude required Above average Excel Skills (and we do mean above average) Job Type:
