As an engineer on this new team, you will participate in building one of the core blocks of OCI next Gen architecture.
It will be a high-scale, high-performance, distributed platform that offers data storage, distribution and caching solutions to OCI services.
It will involve working on different technologies such as Oracle DBs, MySQL, Kafka, Hibernate, JDBC, Redis, that can enable scalability and reliability.
As a founding team member, you will be involved in early design discussions, prototype development all the way through implementation and operating the platform.
You will collaborate with several architects, domain authorities and highly qualified engineers.
Post launch, you will enhance the functionality and provide operational improvements as well as day-to-day operations of this stack.
We re looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems and highly available services.
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead the software design and development for major components of this platform.
You should be both a proven coder and a distributed systems generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and low level systems as well as design broad distributed system interactions.
You should have experience operating large cloud services and have good familiarity with operational tools.
