As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with our progressive, world-class pharmacists to provide personalized service to each customer.
The ideal candidate has the ability to process a variety of prescriptions in a fast-paced, retail environment and maintains a positive attitude with fellow team members.
Our Pharmacy Technicians work promptly, safely and accurately to fill patient prescriptions all while providing a unique customer experience.
Requirements:
Registered with Texas State Board of Pharmacy As CPhT or Trainee Extraordinary customer service Excellent and efficient data entry skills Knowledge of pharmacy and medical terminology Six months to one year pharmacy experience preferred Flexible schedule, alternating day, evening and weekend shifts Able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 8 hours
Responsibilities:
Receive written and electronic prescriptions or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate Enter and maintain prescription data using pharmacy software system Answer incoming phone calls and field patient questions Contact doctor's offices or hospitals to clarify prescription information and initiate refill requests Specialize in the resolution of prescription insurance claims Assist the pharmacist with packaging medications and affixing proper labels Maintain the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders when instructed Job Types:
