Infrastructure Architect

The Corporate IT Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the infrastructure and any associated projects, including as design, strategic data centers, backup and cloud migration. Accountable for end to end infrastructure transformation partnering with the Network, Security and Applications Architects within Forcepoint IT. As an infrastructure architect, you will always be seeking ways to advance process and solutions whilst upholding consistency.
The successful infrastructure architect will have comprehensive infrastructure knowledge across multiple stacks.
Essential Functions
Plan, Design, Lead & Deliver the Infrastructure capability transformation for the corporate IT Infrastructure with high availability, superior performance and 24x7 support
Work with project managers to understand and meet process requirements, deliverables and deadlines.
Work with business analysts, IT managers, and SME's to understand requirements and communicate constraints.
Analyze and document technical impacts and dependencies in support of corporate infrastructure development and integration.
Formulate corporate infrastructure architecture and detailed design on individual IT development projects, aligning implementations with organizational standards and industry best practices.
Partner with Security, Network, and Application architects and design an Infrastructure architecture that allows us to scale securely for superior performance in a cost effective way
Work with Security, Network, and Application architects to coordinate an aligned strategy.
Document application architecture, detailed designs, integration, security, and automated workflow processes.
Development of proof-of-concept/prototype solutions to bootstrap development
Work closely with EPMO and IT Delivery manager to transfer knowledge for implementation
Oversee and provide technical project management input to ensure consistency of delivery
Produce blueprints and strategy for projects and infrastructure enhancements with responsibility for defining the 3 year corporate IT Infrastructure roadmap.
Heterogeneous multi-vendor server hardware, including blade and rack-mounted servers as well as converged infrastructure platforms.
Provide alternative hours as needed for roll-outs, system upgrades, etc.
Experience of working with strategic partners and flexible resources.
Service Design in alignment with Service Management and Operations teams to provide highly resilient Enterprise Architecture within an ITIL environment
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

years of experience managing complex IT infrastructure and working with high demand R&D organizations
Experienced with designing and maintaining large complex global infrastructure spanning across multiple data centers leveraging private & public cloud
Experienced with IT operations & ITIL approach in running a superior service operations & delivery function
Experienced with various Cloud framework implementations like VMware, Openstack, etc.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks or projects to align with strategic IT objectives and with business goals
Thorough understanding of operational support processes, excellent business acumen and ability to direct team in dissecting and diagnosing complex problems.

years of experience in Microsoft environment, with at least 3 years as a Sys Admin.
Comfort and understanding of Linux architectures
ITIL Foundation
Must be able to quickly diagnose system problems and implement solutions to restore functionality
Must have experience working with strategic partners and flexible resources including offshore technical engineers
Soft Skills
Must be accurate and prompt in the details of the job.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must work well with others as part of larger team.
Ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills and Background
TOGAF / Agile / CISSP / ITIL or other EA frameworks
Cloud technologies
Office 365
SAN technology including Compellent, Equalogic, and Brocade
Hyper converged technologies such as Nutanix and HyperV, KVM and Openstack
VMware including vSphere, vCloud Director and View.
Microsoft operating systems and services in a multi-site topology, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DFS, IIS and Cluster Services.
Experience with multiple enterprise backup strategies (Commvault/Veeam), including agent and SAN based backups, snapshots, and file and block level replication.
Working knowledge of PowerShell or similar scripting language(s).
Experience with an enterprise monitoring solution, such as Zabbix, Nagios.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
