years experience with demand response transportation management preferred

Previous call center experience preferred

Job Description: LogistiCare is the nation's leading managed healthcare organization specializing in the management of healthcare transportation benefits. LogistiCare's client base consists of state and local government agencies (Medicaid agencies, transit authorities, school boards), managed care organizations and hospitals. LogistiCare is not a provider of transportation vehicles (we do not physically own vehicles). Instead, LogistiCare manages a network of transportation providers and provides the administrative infrastructure to authorize services and provide billing and claims payment functionality allowing LogistiCare to offer a complete outsourcing solution to our clients.
We are currently looking for a Transportation Supervisor to support our Louisiana Operations. This individual will be responsible for assuring timely services for clients from sub-contracted transportation providers to include oversight and management of all relations with subcontractor providers. This is a career opportunity to contribute leadership, contract enforcement, and provider management skills toward a strong, dynamic team within our operations center.
The position will directly manage a team of Lead Transportation Coordinators and Assistant Transportation Coordinators.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Manages provider network related to specific contracts to ensure that performance criteria are met
Ensures that all contract regulations pertaining to providers are enforced
Recruits and negotiates with provider network
Oversees the trip assignment process
Responsible for developing alternative transportation options such as public transit, recipient reimbursement, or volunteer driver systems
Works closely with transportation providers to address and resolve transportation issues
Develops on going relationship with facilities
Manages problem resolution and quality including complaint reports
Completes necessary reports related to assigned contracts
Regularly meets with stakeholders to ensure we meet their expectations
Supervise, manage and develop a team of Transportation Coordinators and a Lead Transportation Coordinator to meet operational and contractual goals; maximizing the potential of each employee supervised
Manages and supports office staff in pursuit of excellent customer service

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
