Responsibilities
We are searching for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to support the Outlet Managers and ensure a smooth day to day operation of our food & beverage outlets, including the restaurant, in-room dining, mini-bar, pool bar & grill, and any other F&B needs. The successful candidate will have an extensive background in luxury Food & Beverage operations, along with solid wine knowledge, including experience in fine dining service levels.
Support the Food & Beverage Managers with the day to day operations of the restaurant and other food and beverage outlets as appropriate in order to achieve maximum guest satisfaction according to established standards.
Ensures compliance with hotel and restaurant policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
Train and motivate associates in the F&B, to include creating an environment of gracious empowerment, coaching and counseling, resolve challenges, and provide open communications.
High focus on customer service at all times, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests, according to established standards.
Collaboratively work with culinary team to provide an unsurpassed dining experience for our guests.
Provide support to the Food & Beverage Management team and other hotel leaders as needed.
Support administrative responsibilities to include, but not limited to, inventory control, payroll and personnel procedures.
Qualifications
Two to three years' experience in a supervisory role, in fine dining environment preferred.
Strong wine knowledge required; Level 1 Sommelier preferred.
Experience assisting with schedules, labor costs, and productivity.
Strong coaching and training abilities, with a zest for high levels of customer service.
Strong POS system knowledge.
A four-year college degree preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
