Systems Made Simple A Leidos Company is seeking a Business Process Analyst in Austin, TX
The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing business processes and developing sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.
Duties include researching best business practices within and outside the organization, collecting and analyzing process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost. Duties may include determining how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes.
Perform business process analysis, mapping, and brainstorming sessions.
Participate in project planning and oversight activities for assigned projects and initiatives.
Identify, refine, organize and produce documentation for identified business processes using SharePoint
Document processes through swim-lane diagrams, and produce job aids/procedure steps as needed.
Perform scrubs of data through the use of Excel and SharePoint.
Perform a variety of research, analysis tasks, and documentation as identified.
Conduct research, analyze information and compose system information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
Communicate effectively orally and in writing and adapt to the needs of the target audience.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION &
Experience: Typically requires a BA degree and 4 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Requires US Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder) with the ability to obtain a site clearance.
Experience and knowledge of MS Excel formulas and tools are a must, specifically VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
Able to analyze and map out processes, and create flowcharts, organizational charts, job aids, handbooks, etc. Experience with MS Visio a plus.
Financial Analyst skills desired. Scrubbing multiple data sources for accuracy. Developing innovate ways to create efficiency and accuracy in reconciliation processes.
Must be comfortable dealing with ambiguous, often undefined, and complex systems.
