Manager, Application Engineering (Salesforce) Information Technology Remote, United States Roseville, California Irvine, California Roseville, California Austin, Texas Bentonville, Arkansas Description The Manager, Application Engineering (Salesforce) will be responsible for leading a team of technical individuals to design, administer, and scale Loanpal's Salesforce application.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, designing and developing solutions utilizing the Salesforce Lightning configuration and other compatible technologies.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Leadership/Supervisory Role - Lead and scale the Salesforce Engineering Team (currently 4 members).
Mentor and grow Salesforce Engineering team members.
Objectively measure team performance and provide guidance to improve.
Strategy - Develop and demonstrate new strategies that apply technology to resolve organizational challenges.
Work to eliminate obstacles and roadblocks to ensure your team can focus on execution.
Proactively search for ways to improve and optimize our application and processes.
Collaboration - Work with stakeholders cross-departmentally (including Servicing, Collections, Business Development, etc.
) to strategize and develop creative solutions.
Collect, synthesize, and execute on enhancement requests from every corner of the business.
Process Development & Improvement - Set development processes and expectations that reinforce the commitment to change management, quality, and our software development lifecycle.
Execute and uphold our agile delivery methodology with transparency for all of our stakeholders.
Ensure the team's internal processes evolve as the complexity of the business we support grows.
Hands-On Salesforce Development & Administration - Perform hands-on configuration of new and existing functionality including user management, security, custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, advanced formulas, process builder, flows, reporting and dashboards.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities 5
years' experience working on the Salesforce Platform (preferred) 2
years' experience managing a Salesforce team (preferred) Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science (preferred) Salesforce Certification Proven ability to collaborate across all departments Proven ability to deliver projects on-time by leveraging your experience in development processes, work estimation, and optimal resource allocation Strong presentation and technical writing skills to effectively communicate with other teams Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize work accordingly Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology Full comprehension of standard Salesforce functions Strong use of Salesforce Lightning UI Understanding of APIs & Integrations, Apex code analysis and methods of automation #LI-POST GD.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
