CF Martin and Thomas Humphery C-1R Millenium Classical Guitar built from 1997-2000The Martin Thomas Humphrey C-1R offers a Humphrey element normally found primarily on high-end classicals - an elevated fingerboard commonly known as the Millenium.Thomas Humphrey was an American luthier who apprenticed for a year with Michael Gurian around 1970, and then opened his own shop. This model used the elevated fingerboard, which really thins the body at the neck block, with the effect of raising the fingerboard which provides better access to the upper frets, and increases the upward angle of string tension at the bridge. Thomas Humphrey died in April of 2008 at his home in Gardiner, New York. It has a solid Red Cedar top with Sitka Spruce bracing and laminate Indian Rosewood back and sides. The body uses a tapered construction to allow the elevated fingerboard. the neck and headstock is mahogony. The bridge and raised fingerboard are Indian Rosewood.

1 of the tires has good tread, the other 3 have poor tread. They can be used as a "spare" tire for emergencies, or you can mount your winter tires on the rims in time for winter instead of having to pay each time you have your mechanic mounts or removes your snow tires. $30 for the wheel with good tread, $15 each for the others, or $60 for all 4....
