Vehicle Description This 1967 Volkswagen Beetle was reported to have been refurbished about 10 years ago and was sold to the previous owner about a year ago.
When it was refurbished it was also reported to have been painted in the original L620 Savannah Beige.
The paint is not bad for being 10 years old but you can see a bit of rust around the passenger side headlight and tail light and on the chrome bumpers and exhaust tips, again mainly on the passenger side.
We will add more photos soon that will show more detail as well as the underside.
While the 1967's were powered by a 1593cc motor, this one has a replacement 1,776cc flat-four going through a four-speed manual transmission.
A receipt is offered showing a new battery, a front-end alignment, and a repair to the wiring under the rear seat that was completed on 5/31/2019.
There is also an original instruction and maintenance manual, the factory keys, and a clean North Carolina title.
The brakes were reported to have been overhauled with replacement of both front-wheel cylinders, brake shoes, and the brake hardware was cleaned and adjusted while with the previous owner.
The interior has black vinyl seats and panels with German square-weave carpeting reported to have been used when it was refurbished.
The chrome-ringed speedometer shows 38,924 miles but the true mileage is unknown.
